The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Thursday

• Medical assists were made at 4:44 a.m. on South Minnesota Avenue; 8:32 a.m. on Margaret Street; 4:18 p.m. on South Ellis street; 5:40 p.m. on South Sprigg Street; 8:34 p.m. on East Rodney Drive; and 10:53 p.m. on South Sprigg Street.
• At 1:24 p.m., a call on Melrose Avenue.
• At 10:31 p.m., gasoline or other flammable liquid on Independence Street.

Friday

• Medical assists were made at 1:14 p.m. on Perry Avenue; 1:46 p.m. on Siemers Drive; and 9:44 p.m. on Linden Street.
• At 6:02 a.m., a call on South Mount Auburn Road.
• At 12:18 p.m., emergency medical service, excluding vehicle accident, on North Silver Springs Road.
• At 4:10 p.m., assist invalid on Pioneer Drive.
• At 4:28 p.m., alarm system sounded on Dunklin Street.
• At 5:06 p.m., no incident found on arrival at William Street.
• At 6:37 p.m., unauthorized burning on North Spanish Street.
