The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:

• Medical assist calls were made to North Main Street at 1:40 a.m.; Towers Circle at 7:24 a.m.; Shawnee Parkway at 9:56 a.m.; South Benton Street at 1:03 p.m.; Whitener Street at 1:38 p.m.; and South West End Boulevard at 7:13 p.m.
• At 1:33 a.m., passenger vehicle fire on Whitener Street.
• At 3:02 a.m., call to Old Sprigg Street.
• At 7:22 a.m., call to Interstate 55.
• At 2:22 p.m., call to South Fountain Street.
• At 6:14 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on North Kingshighway.
• At 6:43 p.m., smoke detector activation on South Pacific Street.
• At 9:26 p.m., citizen assist on Brookwood Drive.
• At 10:53 p.m., false alarm or false call on North Henderson Avenue.
