The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:

• Medical assist calls were made to La Mesa Drive at 6:21 a.m.; Rusmar Street at 9:38 a.m.; Independence Street at 11:51 a.m.; Cuesta Drive at 12:31 p.m.; Belleridge Pike at 3:09 p.m.; Longview Drive at 4:20 p.m.; and Vantage Drive at 5 p.m.
• At 1:57 a.m., smoke scare on Cecilia Street.
• At 6:51 a.m., alarm system activation, no fire, on Capaha Trail.
• At 8:48 a.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Bloomfield Road.
• At 11:36 a.m., gas leak on Marie Street.
• At 12:50 p.m., electerical wiring or equipment problem on East Pine Street.
• At 1:23 p.m., detector activation, no fire, on Independence Street.
• At 2:35 p.m., alarm system activation, no fire, on Siemers Drive.
• At 3:27 p.m., emergency medical service, excluding vehicle accident on South Fountain Street.
• At 4:38 p.m., emergency medical service, excluding vehicle accident on South West End Boulevard.
• At 9:50 p.m., citizen assist on Linden Street.
• At 11:09 p.m., hazardous condition on Themis Street.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Tuesday:

• Medical assist calls were made to North Silver Springs Road at 12:07 a.m.; Pioneer Drive at 8:22 a.m.; Perry Avenue at 9:01 a.m.; North Mount Auburn Road at 10:04 a.m.; South West End Boulevard at 1:55 p.m.; South Mount Auburn Road at 4:01 p.m.; Whitener Street at 7:12 p.m.; and North Fountain Street at 7:25 p.m.
• At 3:39 a.m., smoke detector activation, no fire, on North Frederick Street.
• At 8:52 a.m., alarm system activation, no fire on Merriwether Street.
• At 12:39 a.m., passenger vehicle fire on Cords Way.
• At 4:50 p.m., alarm system sounding on South Mount Auburn Road.
