The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

Aug. 2

• Medical assists were made at 9:28 a.m. on West Cape Rock Road; 11:26 a.m. on South Hanover Street; 11:42 a.m. on State Highway A; 12:23 p.m. on North Main Street; 3:34 p.m. on William Street; 5:03 p.m. on South Benton Street; 6:05 p.m. on William Street; 6:39 p.m. on Mary Ann Street; 9:23 p.m. on West Cape Rock Road.
• At 7:13 p.m., commercial fire on North Spanish Street.
• At 10:53 p.m., lift assist on South West End Boulevard.
