The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:

• Medical assists at 7:24 a.m. on South Broadview Street; 8:03 a.m. on South Mount Auburn Road; 8:57 a.m. on Woodland Drive; 9:37 a.m. on Normal Avenue; 11:57 a.m. on Doctors' Park Drive; 2:39 p.m. on Independence Street; and 5:09 p.m. on Broadway.
• At 2:15 a.m., a call on William Street.
• At 1:22 p.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on South Lake Road.
• At 1:25 p.m., a building fire on Chesapeake Avenue.
• At 9:30 p.m., a call on North Sprigg Street.
• At 11:03 p.m., a call on Ranchito Drive.
