The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Wednesday:

• Medical assists were made at 12:11 a.m. on South Pacific Street; 11:49 a.m. on Linden Street; 2:42 p.m. on Linden Street; 5:20 p.m. on North Ellis Street; 6:19 p.m. on Perry Avenue; and 10:24 p.m. on Towers Circle.
• At 8:35 a.m., emergency medical service on Masters Drive.
• At 11:25 a.m., a citizen assist on South West End Boulevard.
• At 12:12 p.m., an outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on Bloomfield Road.
• At 2:03 p.m., a gas leak on Broadway.
• At 2:26 p.m., a smoke scare or odor of smoke on South Sprigg Street.
• At 3:35 p.m., a building fire at Crites Trailer.
• At 6:12 p.m., no incident found on arrival at Hopper Road.
• At 6:54 p.m., an outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on North Pind Wood Lane.
• At 7:04 p.m., a carbon-monoxide detector activation on Sheridan Drive.
• At 11:40 p.m., a call on Cape LaCroix Road.
