The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Tuesday:

* At 10 a.m., a medical assist on Independence Street.

* At 12:10 p.m., a motor vehicle accident on North Cape Rock Drive.

* At 2:02 p.m., a medical assist on South West End Boulevard.

* At 2:40 p.m., a passenger vehicle fire on North Kingshighway.

* At 4:18 p.m., a medical assist on William Street.

* At 4:35 p.m., a motor vehicle accident on South Minnesota Avenue.

* At 4:38 p.m., a citizen assist on Linden Street.

* At 10:52 p.m., a building fire on South Spring Street.
