The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

July 5

• Medical assists were made at 10:02 a.m. on Village Drive; 10:44 a.m. on North Henderson Avenue; 10:53 a.m. on Dunklin Street; 9:09 p.m. on South West End Boulevard.
• At 10:12 a.m., lift assist on Vincent Park Drive.
• At 12:09 p.m., vegetation fire at County Road 217 and State Highway AB, Scott City.
• At 3:23 p.m., commercial fire on North Sprigg Street.
• At 6:26 p.m., vegetation fire at Bellevue and North Fountain streets.
• At 7:06 p.m., fire alarm on North Sprigg Street.
• At 7:38 p.m., lift assist on Merriwether Street.
