The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:

• Medical assists were made at 5:21 a.m. on Penrod Place; 5:46 a.m. on South Lake Drive; 7:45 a.m. on Broadway; 8:20 a.m. on Montgomery Street; 9:49 a.m. on Steven Drive; 10:29 a.m. on Hawthorne Road; 2:38 p.m. on Themis Street; 5:44 p.m. on North Main Street; 5:53 p.m. on Campster Drive; and 7:35 p.m. on Linden Street.
• At 12:19 a.m., a call on Brenda Kay Court.
• At 3:04 a.m., a call on South West End Boulevard.
• At 7:51 a.m., a smoke-detector activation, no fire, on Towers Circle.
• At 12:21 p.m., an alarm system sounding on Boutin Drive.
• At 3:38 p.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on Clark Avenue.
• At 4:30 p.m., a smoke or odor investigation on Locust Street.
• At 6:09 p.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on Capaha Trail.
• At 9:51 p.m., emergency medical service on Tillaree Lane.
