CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Sheridan Drive at 7:09 a.m.; South Mount Auburn Road at 7:47 a.m.; Interstate 55 at 8:54 a.m.; Brookwood Drive at 3:29 p.m.; Independence Street at 4:05 p.m.; Highway 74 at 5:18 p.m.; Themis Street at 5:20 p.m.; Good Hope Street at 5:27 p.m.; North Frederick Street at 5:34 p.m.; Cape Meadows Circle at 7:38 p.m.; North Sprigg Street at 8:47 p.m.; and Linden Street at 10:03 p.m.
• At 10:12 a.m., alarm system sounded on Lacey Street.
• At 11:33 a.m., detector activation, no fire, on North Sprigg Street.
• At 1:12 p.m., good-intent call on South Plaza Way.
• At 7:05 p.m., swift water rescue on First Street.
• At 9:22 p.m., detector activation, no fire, on North Henderson Avenue.
• Other calls were made to Lakewood Drive at 4:29 a.m. and North Spring Avenue at 8:52 a.m.
