The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls: Sunday n Medical assists were made at 7:47 a.m. on South Sprigg Street, 8:30 a.m. on Penrod Place, 9:13 a.m. on North Church Street, 10:26 a.m. on Linden Street, 10:48 a.m. on Rush H. Limbaugh Jr. Memorial Drive, noon on North Silver Springs Road, 7:58 p.m. on Hawthorne Road and 8:49 p.m. on South Sprigg Street...

- Medical assists were made at 7:47 a.m. on South Sprigg Street, 8:30 a.m. on Penrod Place, 9:13 a.m. on North Church Street, 10:26 a.m. on Linden Street, 10:48 a.m. on Rush H. Limbaugh Jr. Memorial Drive, noon on North Silver Springs Road, 7:58 p.m. on Hawthorne Road and 8:49 p.m. on South Sprigg Street.
- At 1:49 a.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Sprigg Street.
- At 7:20 a.m., excessive heat, scorch burns on Independence Street.
- At 1:20 p.m., a citizen assist on Mimosa Drive.
- At 5:36 p.m., an alarm system activation, no fire, on Lakewood Drive.
