The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday:
- Medical assist calls were made to: Sheridan Drive at 12:44 a.m.; Themis Street at 8:19 a.m.; North Spanish Street at 8:22 a.m.; South Kingshighway at 12:28 p.m.; Washington Avenue at 12:43 p.m.; North Mount Auburn Road at 2:55 p.m.; South Broadview Street at 3:01 p.m.; Garnet Lane at 4:20 p.m.; Linden Street at 6:52 p.m.; and Whitener Street at 9:06 p.m.
- At 3:15 p.m., cooking fire confined to container on Park Avenue.
- At 3:27 p.m., call to North Sprigg Street.
- At 9:29 p.m., call to Kiwanis Drive.
