The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Thursday.

• Medical assist calls were made to: North Kingshighway at 7:30 a.m.; Gordonville Road at 8:44 a.m.; Village Drive at 9:37 a.m.; North Pacific Street at 10:58 a.m.; Good Hope Street at 12:59 p.m.; Howell Street at 1:28 p.m.; Bertling Street at 4:13 p.m.; Victoria Drive at 6:39 p.m.; and South Park Street at 8:24 p.m.
• At 1:06 a.m., smoke or odor investigation on North Middle Street.
• At 1:57 a.m., building fire on Hackberry Street.
• At 1:26 p.m., power line down on North Park Street.
• At 4:59 p.m., call canceled en route to North Kingshighway.
• At 5:49 p.m., call canceled en route to Cape Meadows Circle.
• At 9:56 p.m., good intent call, other, on Good Hope Street.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Friday.

• Medical assist calls were made to: North Frederick Street at 6:55 p.m.; Boutin Drive at 7:48 p.m.; and Vantage Drive at 10:33 p.m.
• At 2:55 a.m., a municipal alarm system at Towers Circle.
• At 3:04 a.m., a detector activation, no fire at Towers Circle.
• At 7:37 a.m., no incident found on arrival at North Main Street.
• At 11:45 a.m., a call to Independence Street.
• At 12:01 p.m., assist police or other governmental agency at Linden Street.
• At 12:19 p.m., a call to Bellevue Street.
• At 1:35 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury on southbound Interstate 55.
• At 2:13 p.m., an emergency medical service call, excluding a vehicle accident to Linden Street.
• At 3:16 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, no injury, on North Sprigg Street.
• At 8:25 p.m., an emergency medical service call, excluding a vehicle accident, on North Hanover Street.
• At 9:43 p.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Victoria Drive.
