CAPE GIRARDEAU The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls: Thursday n Medical assists were made at 1:23 a.m. on Independence Street; 7:32 a.m. on North Sprigg Street; 9:29 a.m. on Independence Street; 10:33 a.m. on Park Place; 1:22 p.m. on Cheetah Lane; 1:56 p.m. on South Henderson Avenue; and 9:42 p.m. on North Sunset Boulevard...

- Medical assists were made at 1:23 a.m. on Independence Street; 7:32 a.m. on North Sprigg Street; 9:29 a.m. on Independence Street; 10:33 a.m. on Park Place; 1:22 p.m. on Cheetah Lane; 1:56 p.m. on South Henderson Avenue; and 9:42 p.m. on North Sunset Boulevard.
- At 11:57 a.m., woodland fire was reported on County Road 612.
- At 2:12 p.m., grass fire was reported on South Broadview Street.
- At 7:21 p.m., possible hazardous material release was investigated on Parksite Drive.
