The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Thursday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Broadway at 12:01 p.m.; Themis Street at 5:12 p.m.; Patriot Drive at 5:25 p.m.; Interstate 55 at 6:13 p.m.; South Benton Street at 10:36 p.m.; Howell Street at 10:56 p.m.; South Ellis Street at 11:14 p.m.
• At 7:26 a.m., alarm system sounded on North Sprigg Street.
• At 9:56 a.m., alarm system activation, no fire, on North Ellis Street.
• At 2:51 p.m., call on Girardeau Court.
• At 3:39 p.m., false alarm or false call on North Frederick Street.
• At 8:19 p.m., gasoline or other flammable liquid on South Sprigg Street.
• At 9:40 p.m., power line down on Old Sprigg Street Road.
• At 10:13 p.m., alarm system activation, no fire, on Towers Circle.
• At 10:26 p.m., call on Towers Circle.
• At 10:56 p.m., call on Big Bend Road.

• Medical assist calls were made to: Luce Street at 3:41 a.m.; South Ranney Avenue at 8:26 a.m.; William Street at 1:39 p.m.; North Spanish Street at 4:56 p.m.; Towers Circle at 6:55 p.m.
• At 3:37 a.m., false alarm on Lacey Street.
• At 12:43 p.m., emergency medical service excluding a vehicle accident on North Mount Auburn Road.
• At 4:06 p.m., smoke detector activation on Linden Street.
• At 7:37 p.m., a call to South Middle Street.
• At 9:16 p.m., a call to South Silver Springs Road.
• At 10:44 p.m., a system malfunction on North Sprigg Street.
