The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Friday.

• Medical assists were made at 10:15 a.m. on North Ellis Street; 10:54 a.m. on Woodlawn Avenue; 4:36 p.m. on Broadway; 9:08 p.m. on Marie Street; and 10:37 p.m. on North Middle Street.
• At 1:15 a.m., a smoke-detector activation, no fire, on Towers Circle.
• At 4:07 a.m., a call on Fremont Street.
• At 11:41 a.m., an alarm system sounding on North Mount Auburn Road.
• At 3:19 p.m., a building fire on West Cape Rock Drive.
• At 3:31 p.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on Country Club Drive.
• At 4:25 p.m., a good-intent call on Independence Street.
• At 6:21 p.m., a call on Bloomfield Road.
• At 10:16 p.m., a call on William Street.
