The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Friday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Wisteria Street at 8:29 a.m.; Jefferson Avenue at 10:08 a.m.; Armstrong at 11:17 a.m.; West Lorimier Street at 4:07 p.m.; Ridge Road at 4:10 p.m.; and South Pacific Street at 5:13 p.m.
• At 12:45 a.m., assist invalid on Rose Street.
• At 1:55 a.m., smoke detector activation on Linden Street.
• At 6:32 a.m., alarm activation, no fire on Saint Francis Drive.
• At 6:39 a.m., dispatched and canceled en route to Good Hope Street.
• At 8:39 a.m., no incident found on arrival on Whitener Street.
• At 1:37 p.m., a call to Independence Street.
• At 6:05 p.m., alarm system activation on Rusmar Street.
• At 6:37 p.m., emergency medical service, excluding a vehicle accident, on Minute Men Way.
• At 7:17 p.m., false alarm or false call to South Silver Springs Road.
• At 7:54 p.m., a call to William Street.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Saturday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: South Benton Street at 2:03 a.m.; Napa Circle at 3:25 a.m.; Tulip Lane at 2:55 p.m.; and Camellia Drive at 7:52 p.m.
• At 12:45 a.m., gasoline or other flammable liquid on Broadway.
• At 3:10 a.m., a call on South Sprigg Street.
• At 8:07 a.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Lexington Avenue.
• At 9 a.m., smoke detector activation. no fire, on Woodhaven Road.
• At 11:05 a.m., false alarm or false call, other, on Vantage Drive.
• At 6:14 p.m., alarm system activation, no fire, on Dearmont Circle.
• At 8:52 p.m., smoke detector activation, no fire, on William Street.
