The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Whitener Street at 2:38 a.m.; North Sprigg Street at 3:39 a.m.; South Benton Street at 7:37 a.m.; Good Hope Street at 8:30 a.m.; William Street at 8:46 a.m.; Sheridan Drive at 9:08 a.m.; South Sprigg Street at 10:11 a.m.; South Mount Auburn Road at 12:24 p.m.; Minute Men Way at 5:19 p.m.; North Sprigg Street at 8:28 p.m.; and 11:29 p.m.
• At 8:59 a.m., motor vehicle accident with no injuries on South Mount Auburn Road.
• At 10:16 a.m., a call on Cape Meadows Circle.
• At 10:53 a.m., motor vehicle/pedestrian accident on North Mount Auburn Road.
• At 5:30 p.m., call on Cecilia Street.
• At 5:39 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 55.
• At 5:42 p.m., citizen assist on Patriot Drive.
• At 6:31 p.m., no incident found on arrival on South Kingshighway.
• At 11:28 p.m., call on South Sprigg Street.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Thursday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Independence Street at 7:03 a.m. and 9:11 a.m.; William Street at 9:22 a.m.; South Kingshighway at 10:48 a.m.; North Frederick Street at 11:21 a.m.; Doctors' Park Drive at 2:08 p.m.; and Weissinger Street at 3:28 p.m.
• At 6:13 a.m., call to Beavercreek Drive.
• At 7:36 a.m., call to Penrod Place.
• At 7:55 a.m., alarm system activation on Greek Drive.
• At 12:38 p.m., alarm system sounded on Independence Street.
• At 12:45 p.m., overheated motor on South Broadview Street.
• At 4:16 p.m., assist invalid on North Broadview Street.
• At 9:31 p.m., alarm system sounded on Towers Circle.
• At 10:12 p.m., call to Linden Street.
