The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:
- Medical assist calls were made to: Park Place at 6:40 a.m.; South West End Boulevard at 7:12 a.m.; Beaver Creek Drive at 7:38 a.m.; North Kingshighway at 8:59 a.m.; Broadway at 1:38 p.m.; Interstate 55 at 2:11 p.m.; South Lorimier Street at 2:58 p.m.; and North Water Street at 8:05 p.m.
- At 11:29 a.m., building fire on North Fountain Street.
- At 3:14 p.m., call canceled en route to Whitener Street.
- At 4:11 p.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries on Lexington Avenue.
- At 7:38 p.m., building fire on North Water Street.
