CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Sunday:

• Medical assist calls were made to: Independence Street at 1:44 p.m.; Perry Avenue at 3:43 p.m.; North Park Avenue at 5:20 p.m.; and Cape West Parkway at 7:25 p.m.
• At 12:45 a.m., a call on Broadway.
• At 1:56 a.m., A Dumpster or other outside trash fire on South Mount Auburn Road.
• At 5:06 a.m., a smoke or odor investigation on North Henderson Avenue.
• At 7:32 a.m., a call on South Hanover Street.
• At 10:34 a.m., emergency medical service, excluding vehicle accident, on Whitener Street.
• At 4:26 p.m., unauthorized burning on Albert Street.
• At 5:40 p.m., emergency medical service, excluding vehicle accident, on Hawthorne Road.
• At 7:37 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injuries on South Kingshighway.
