CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Sunday.

• Medical assists were made at 12:07 a.m. on North Mount Auburn Road; 1:29 a.m. on East Lake Drive; 4:25 a.m. on South Pacific Street; 6:34 a.m. on South Sprigg Street; 7:34 a.m. on South Sprigg Street; and 8:17 p.m. on Mimosa Street.
• At 3:14 a.m., a call on North Ellis Street.
• At 12:29 p.m., a smoke-detector activation, no fire, on Fairway Boulevard.
• At 2:06 p.m., a motor-vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 55.
• At 2:49 p.m., a smoke or odor investigation on Stonebridge Drive.
• At 5:34 p.m., unauthorized burning on Haddock Street.
• At 8:34 p.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on Wildwood Street.
