The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Saturday.

• Medical assist calls were made at 10:08 a.m. on William Street; 12:35 p.m. on William Street; 3:24 p.m. on South Kingshighway; 3:32 p.m. on Broadway; 5:38 p.m. on William Street; and 9:24 p.m. on North Main Street.
• At 1:03 a.m., an unspecified call on South Sprigg Street.
• At 1:35 a.m., unauthorized burning on North Middle Street.
• At 4:08 a.m., an unspecified call on Independence Street.
• At 2:02 p.m., a good-intent call on Gordonville Road.
• At 3:07 p.m., a special type of incident on Meadowbrook Street.
• At 3:26 p.m., a cooking fire on Lakeshore Drive.
• Emergency personnel were dispatched but cancelled en route to North Cape Rock Drive at 4:51 p.m. and Green Acres Drive at 7:08 p.m.
