The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

Oct. 17

• Medical assists were made at 10:32 a.m.; 11:44 a.m. on Whitener Street; 3:29 p.m. on Shenandoah Ridge; 6:10 p.m. on Bloomfield Road; 6:43 p.m. on South West End Boulevard; 9:41 p.m. on North Sprigg Street.
• At 10:09 a.m., lift assist on North Silver Springs Road.
• At 10:50 a.m., structure fire at Giboney Avenue and Hickory Street.
• At 9:25 p.m., lift assist at Beavercreek Drive.
