The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

Jan. 5

• Medical assists were made at 5:58 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue; 8:34 a.m. on Linden Street; 11:39 a.m. on Champion Drive; 9:22 p.m. on North County Park Road.
• At 7:34 a.m., lift assist on Earleen Drive.
• at 4:11 p.m., a refuse/garbage fire on William Street.
• At 5:09 p.m., a refuse/garbage fire on Lochinvar Lane.
• At 5:11 p.m., a refuse/garbage fire at North West End Boulevard and North Missouri Avenue.
• At 5:12 p.m., carbon monoxide on Interstate 55 Southbound mile marker 107.
