The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday.

• Medical assists were made at 4:29 a.m. on Village Lane; 12:01 p.m. on Broadway; 12:25 p.m. on Lawanda Drive; 12:56 p.m. on Whitener Street; 1:39 p.m. on William Street; 2:21 p.m. on Village Lane; 6:35 p.m. on North Kingshighway; and 7:21 p.m. on William Street.
• At 6:09 a.m., a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 55.
• At 6:16 a.m., no incident found on arrival on Interstate 55.
• At 7:12 a.m., a smoke or odor investigation on Blattner Drive.
• At 7:58 a.m., a special type of incident on Interstate 55.
• At 8:03 a.m., rescue or EMS standby on Veterans Memorial Drive.
• At 8:15 a.m., extrication of a victim from a vehicle on Interstate 55.
• At 9:01 a.m., a cooking fire confined to a container on College Street.
• At 11:01 a.m., a search for person on land in Scott City.
• At 9:28 p.m., a call on Locust Street.
• At 11:56 p.m., a call on West Drive.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Thursday.

• Medical assists were made at 1:04 p.m. on Georgia Street; 2:10 p.m. on South West End Boulevard; and 3:29 p.m. on South Silver Springs Road.
• At 12:46 a.m., a call on North Fountain Street.
• At 5:56 a.m., a call on Bellevue Street.
• At 10:38 a.m., a call was dispatched and canceled en route to Good Hope Street.
• At 10:43 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Interstate 55.
• At 11:18 a.m., a good-intent call on Gordonville Road.
• At 12:15 p.m., a building fire on Route Z.
• At 6:57 p.m., an EMS call on West Mount Road.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Friday.

• Medical assists were made at 5:59 a.m. on Old Hopper Road; 5:59 a.m. on South Kingshighway; 1:01 p.m. on North Kingshighway; 5:40 p.m. on South Sprigg Street, 6:10 p.m. on Big Bend Road; 10:26 p.m. on North Fountain Street; and 10:38 p.m. at Albert Street.
• At 12:38 p.m., a carbon-monoxide detector activation on Helena Avenue.
• At 6:59 p.m., a motor-vehicle accident with injuries on Whitener Street.
• At 10:53 p.m., a detector activation, no fire at Towers Circle.

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Saturday.

• Medical assist calls were made at 12:17 a.m. on Good Hope Street; 1:33 a.m. on Towers Circle; 10:22 a.m. on Rock Creek Lane; and 3:42 p.m. on North Mount Auburn Road.
• At 2:01 a.m., an outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on Montgomery Street.
• At 3:07 a.m., steam or other gas mistaken for smoke on Nash Road.
• At 5:47 p.m., no incident was found upon arrival at Delwin Street.
• At 6:41 p.m., a power line down on William Street.
• At 8:11 p.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on Normal Avenue.
• At 9:50 p.m., a call was dispatched and cancelled en route to Hunters Lane.
• At 11:29 p.m., an EMS call on South Ellis Street.
