The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Saturday.

• Medical assists were made at 11:05 a.m. on Pioneer Drive; 4:04 p.m. on Village Drive; and 10:34 p.m. on William Street.
• At 7:27 a.m., a smoke or odor investigation on Veterans Memorial Drive.
• At 10:22 a.m., a gas leak on South Kingshighway.
• At 3:28 p.m., an electrical wiring or equipment problem on William Street.
• At 3:45 p.m., extrication of a victim from a vehicle on Route V.
• At 6:03 p.m., a smoke or odor investigation on Lorimier Street.
• At 6:08 p.m., a police matter on County Road 256.
