The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Wednesday

• Medical assists were made at 7:33 a.m. on South Silver Springs Road, 11:10 a.m. on South Silver Springs Road, 11:45 a.m. on North Kingshighway, 12:06 p.m. on Cape La Croix Road, 4:13 p.m. on South Kingshighway, 6:41 p.m. on Pioneer Drive and 9:10 p.m. on North Sprigg Street.
• At 2:04 a.m., a passenger vehicle fire was reported on Themis Street.
• At 3:30 p.m., a citizen assist was made on Camel Back Road.
• At 5:53 p.m., a building fire was reported on South Benton Street.
• At 6:28 p.m., a carbon monoxide detector activation was reported on South Pacific Street.
