The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Tuesday

• Medical assist calls were made at 12:10 a.m. on North Sprigg Street, 7:57 a.m. on Brenda Kay Court, 8:15 a.m. on William Street and 9:10 a.m. on Pheasant Cove.
• At 6:44 a.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on Interstate 55.
• At 9:51 a.m., a unit was dispatched and cancelled enroute.
• At 9:56 a.m., a good intent, no medical, false alarm call was made on Whitener Street.
• At 10:05 a.m., a unit was dispatched and cancelled enroute on North Sprigg Street.
• At 4:12 p.m., a unit was dispatched and cancelled enroute on Interstate 55.
• At 5:18 p.m., a false alarm was reported on Penny Avenue.
