The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Wednesday

• Medical assists were made at 4:29 a.m. on Karen Drive, 5:08 a.m. on Perry Avenue, 9:33 a.m. on South Mount Auburn Road, 9:58 a.m. on North Sprigg Street, 1:31 p.m. on North Kingshighway and 5:34 p.m. on North Park Avenue.
• At 4:03 a.m., outside rubbish, trash or waste fire was reported on Perryville Road.
• At 6:38 a.m., a building fire was reported on Lexington Avenue.
• At 1:55 p.m., gas leak (natural or LPG) was reported on Jefferson Avenue.
• At 2:45 p.m., a citizen assist call was made on Stoddard Street.
• At 4:33 p.m., smoke detector activation was reported on Camellia Drive.
• At 7:28 p.m., a citizen assist call was made on Terrace Drive.
• At 9:25 p.m., a motor vhicle accident with injuries was reported on Interstate 55.
