BENTON, Mo. -- Two Sikeston-area brothers have been arrested for attempting to manufacture a controlled substance.
George K. Rutledge, 36, and Charles F. Rutledge, 30, both of Sikeston, also have been charged with possession of chemicals and possession of ephedrine.

George Rutledge also is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
They are being held in the Scott County Jail on $200,000 bond each.
