The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Julie M. Aufdenberg, 38, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
• Bryan D. McDowell, 38, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
• Samuel D. Sullivan, 53, of Jackson, Mississippi, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
• Travis D. Blackmon, 39, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
• Shyanne Gierth, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest.
• Darrell McIntyre, 39, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of a drug violation.
• Shannon Babers, 40, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of a drug violation.

Assaults

• Assault was reported at South Main and Independence streets.
• Assault was reported in the 400 block of North Frederick Street.
• Sexual offense was reported in the 600 block of South Spring Avenue.
• Assault was reported at Saint Francis Medical Center, 211 Saint Francis Drive.
• Weapons violation was reported in the 100 block of North Clark Avenue.
• Assault was reported. Suspect was in custody.

Thefts

• Stealing was reported in the 900 block of Carolina Lane.
• Stealing was reported at Broadway and North Main Street.
• Theft was reported in the 2000 block of Lacey Street.
• Theft was reported in the 600 block of South West End Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

• Forgery was reported on Centennial Drive.
• Violation of an order of proection was reported in the 1000 block of Locust Street.
• Property damage was reported in the 3400 block of William Street.
• Property damage was reported in the 3100 block of Themis Street.
• Property damage was reported in the 400 block of South Spring Avenue.
