Area police report 8/16/18

CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Gregory King, 40, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

Assault

• Assault, property damage and tampering with a motor vehicle were reported at 2700 Pioneer Drive. A suspect is in custody pending formal charges.

Theft

• Motor vehicle theft, theft of a credit card and stealing were reported at 646 S. Spring St.

Miscellaneous

• Delivery of a controlled substance, tab not properly affixed to plate and failure to have tail lamps were reported at Good Hope and South Sprigg streets. A suspect is in custody pending formal charges.
• Unlawful use of a weapon was reported in the 1400 block of Independence Street.

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Vincent Tourville, 33, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle on a revoked license.
