CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Joshua Benefield, 41, of Cape Girardeau was arrestd on a Bollinger County (Missouri) warrant.
• Steven Hanks Sr., 48, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on two Scott County warrants.
• Bobbye Marks, 45, of Tamms, Illinois, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 670 Napa Circle.
• Theft was reported at 420 S. Kingshighway.
• Receiving stolen property was reported at 777 North Main St.
• Burglary was reported at 1900 N. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

• Impersonation of a law enforcement officer was reported at 211 Saint Francis Drive. A suspect is in custody pending charges.
• Possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug parapernalia were reported at 353 S. Kingshighway.

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

DWI

• Tom Truong, 40, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and speeding.

Arrests

• Kaeleigh Sutherland, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Union County (Illinois) warrant for failure to appear.
• Jerry Talley, 37, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.
• Desmond Dennard, 25, of Jackson was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

Assault

• Assault was reported in the 700 block of Eastview Court.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 800 block of Old Cape Road.
• Theft was reported in the 500 block of Highland Drive.
• Theft was reported in the 900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• Theft was reported in the 200 block of South Russell Street.
• Fraud was reported in the 2200 block of Greensferry Road.
• Fraud was reported in the 2600 block of Watson Drive.
