Assaults

• Second-degree assault was reported on Jefferson Avenue.
• Assault was reported on North Main Street.
• Assault was reported on Amblewood Drive.
• Assault was reported on Lacey Street.
• Assault was reported on Whitener Street.

DWI

• Driving while intoxicated operating a vehicle on highway without a valid license was reported on Broadway.

Thefts

• Theft of a vehicle was reported on Themis Street.
• Theft was reported on North Ellis Street.
• Theft was reported on Lacey Street.
• Theft was reported on Amblewood Drive.
• Theft was reported on South Lorimier Street.
• Burglary was reported on North Middle Street.

Miscellaneous

• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on North Sprigg Street.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on North Kingshighway.
• Fraud was reported.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported on Shirley Drive.
• First-degree property damage, stealing and resisting arrest was reported on South Broadview Street.

JACKSON

Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Jeremy Shered, 34, of Carbondale, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana 11 to 35 grams.
• Chad Cook, 45, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while driver's license suspended/revoked, speeding and seatbelt violation.

DWI

• Joshua Freeman, 29, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, failure to drive in single lane and operating a defective motor vehicle.

Fraud

• Fraud was reported in the 400 block of South Hope Street.
• Fraud was reported in the 2300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Theft

• Theft was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Assault

• Assault was reported in the 900 block of Old Cape Road.
