The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of trespassing at Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd.
- Samuel Lester Brown, 55, homeless, was arrested on a warrant.
Charges
- Charges are pending for an ex parte violation in the 3000 block of Aspen Drive.

Summons
- Zachary J. Durham, 27, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Schnucks, 19, S. Kingshighway.
Assault
- Fourth-degree domestic assault was reported in the 1400 block of Mississippi Street.
Thefts
- Stealing was reported in the 500 block of Broadway.
- Second-degree burglary and property damage were reported in the 1400 block of North Water Street.
Miscellaneous
- Counterfeiting was reported at 10 S. West End Blvd.
