CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls:

Thursday

• Medical assists were made at 1:24 a.m. on Lexington Avenue, 11:02 a.m. on South Kingshighway, 12:31 p.m. on South Mount Auburn Road, 1:34 p.m. on Independence Street, 1:36 p.m. on Village Drive, 2:21 p.m. on South Ellis Street and 9:12 p.m. on Stoddard Street.
• At 9:48 a.m., vehicle fire was reported on Interstate 55.
• At 4:15 p.m.., alarm system activation, no fire, was reported on North Sprigg Street.

SCOTT CITY

The Scott City Fire Department responded to the following calls:

July 28 to Aug. 3

• Medical assists were made on July 28 in the 1000 block of Oak Street, 500 block of East Third Street, 404 N. Lincoln St. and 1900 block of Azalea Drive; July 29 in the 200 block of Highway 313; July 30 in the 600 block of East Main Street, 100 block of West Hickory Street and 1100 block of Perkins Street; Aug. 1 in the 100 block of West Maple Drive and 1800 block of Oak Street; Aug. 2 in the 600 block of Main Street and 10000 block of Route N; and Aug. 3 in the 800 block of East Seventh Street.
• On July 28, illegal burning was reported in the 200 block of West Mar-Elm Street.
• On Aug. 2, anhydrous leak was reported at 1205 Main St.
• On Aug. 2, smoke investigation was performed at Thebes boat ramp.
