CALLAO, Mo. (AP) -- Authorities say a northcentral Missouri man is dead after being hit by a train that he ran toward while drinking with friends. Macon County deputies say Richard Scott of LaPlata and the others were partying outside a Callao home Thursday night when he set down his drink and ran for a passing train.
