Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts invites local artists to participate in the Southeast Missouri Juried Art Show.
The event, which is limited to Missouri artists ages 18 and older and live within a 75-mile radius of Cape Girardeau, will be held at Gallery 100 in downtown Cape Girardeau.
"Local artists deserve an opportunity to exhibit their work with their peers," said Beverly Strohmeyer, executive director of Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts. "Their unique point of view expresses this area's values, issues and visions."
James V. Parker will jury the show be reviewing the submitted works, selecting those to be exhibited and choosing the winners to receive cash awards and ribbons. Entries may be mailed or hand-delivered to Gallery 100, 100 Broadway, Cape Girardeau, 63701.
To receive an entry form for the art show, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Southeast Missouri Council of the Arts, P.O. Box 901, Cape Girardeau, 63702-0901.
The entry deadline is March 25. The show will be on display from April 4-23.
