(Editorial ~ 08/01/94)
Dear Editor: This is in response to the letter written by Paula E. Kimpe (July 27), stating that the government's intervention in our lives is purely for our safety. Poppycock! What the government is really doing is interfering in our personal decisions by trying to decide what is best for us, rather than letting us decide for ourselves. In doing so, they have gained a power over us that will be nearly impossible to get out from under...

PUBLIC MIND: IF CLINTON WRITES THE COUNTRY'S HEALTH PLAN AS PROPOSED, GOD HELP US ALL
(Editorial ~ 08/01/94)
Dear Editor: How many Missourians are still unaware that even trying to see their own doctor may soon be a federal offense for which they can be fined and imprisoned for two years?
