Rhonda White and John Smith were married Aug. 27, 2005, at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City. The Rev. Robert Azinger performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of M.G. and Sandra Cook of Scott City. The groom is the son of John and Gladys Smith of Scott City.

Matron of honor was Kelly Watson of Murray, Ky., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Bobbi Kight of Commerce, Mo.; Deanna Niederkorn of Cape Girardeau; Anita Kinder of Chaffee, Mo., sister of the groom; April Stephens, Cyndi Cassout and Jackie Raines, all of Scott City. Junior bride was Alexius Sander of Benton, Mo.

Charlie Lilly of Scott City was best man. Groomsmen were Eric White of Scott City, brother of the bride; John Niederkorn of Cape Girardeau; Terry Gettings, Darren Stephens, Darren and Robert Raines, both cousins of the groom, all of Scott City. Junior groom was Caleb Niederkorn of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Scot Elder of Fruitland and Bobby Cassout of Scott City.

Ringbearer was Conner Kriete of Columbia, Mo., nephew of the groom.

Tiffany Raines of Scott City attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City. Servers were Ida Dunger and Rhonda Raines of Scott City.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 26 at the church.

Mrs. Smith is a 1995 graduate of Scott City High School. She is employed at Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Scott City High School. He is employed by city of Scott City.

After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Scott City.
