ORAN, Mo. -- Guardian Angel Catholic Church was the setting Sept. 16, 2000, for the wedding of Tammy Sue Wubker and Michael Patrick Maloy. The Rev. Lewis Hejna performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Dana Lynch, guitarist was Marlene Scherer, and vocalists were Jill Landewee and Chris Scherer.
Richard and Anita Wubker of Oran are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Leonard and Bonnie Maloy of St. Louis.
Matron of honor was Julie Duenne of Benton, Mo. Bridesmaids were Lisa Landewee of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride; Paula Miles of Advance, Mo., and Tara Schaefer of St. Louis, niece of the groom.
Jeff Wampler of St. Louis served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Schaefer of St. Louis, nephew of the groom; Jim Simmons Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, cousin of the groom; and Dewaine Wubker of Oran, brother of the bride. Ushers were Brian Wubker of Oran, brother of the bride; Don Schaefer of St. Louis, brother-in-law of the groom; Bob Metschke of St. Louis; and Jeff Heck of Perryville, Mo.
Flower girl was Grayson Miles, daughter of Harold and Paula Miles of Advance. Ringbearer was Taylor Hlavek, son of Steve and Amy Hlavek of Perryville.
Program attendants were Stella and Billy Reinagel of Kelso, Mo., aunt and uncle of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City, Mo. Servers were Sherri DeBrock, Lila Seiler, Lori Todt, Lucretia Dakin and Tina Higdon.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 15.
Mrs. Maloy received a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from Southeast Missouri State University in 1990. She is a regional coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in business management from Concordia University in St. Louis in 1993. He is an agent with American Family Insurance in Perryville.
After a wedding trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas, the couple resides in Perryville.
