ADVANCE, Mo. -- Larissa Dawn Wright and Galen Mikael Hawkins were married July 1, 2000, at Bethel General Baptist Church. The Rev. Fred Ritter performed the double ring ceremony. Rita McCain of Bloomfield, Mo., was pianist.
Parents of the couple are Byron and Viola Wright of Advance, and Larry and Terry Hawkins of Bell City, Mo.
Kathy Cube of Advance, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Crystal Coplin and Kristy Shirrell of Advance, and Tuesday Polley of Bell City.
The groom chose Craig Hale of Advance as best man. Groomsmen were Sonny Polley of Bell City, Derrick Schuette and Jeremy Shirrell of Advance. Ushers were Kyle Hitt, nephew of the bride, and Arron Hawkins, cousin of the groom, both of Advance.
Candlelighters were Megan Wright of Cape Girardeau and Kristen Hitt of Advance, nieces of the bride.
Flower girls were Paxton and Hunter Wright of Advance, nieces of the bride. Ringbearer was Austin Hawkins of Advance, cousin of the groom.
Britney and Lindsey Wright of Mechanicsville, Va., attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Eagles Lodge. Servers were Nelda Livingston and Marge Overton of Advance.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 29 at Fiddler's in Dexter, Mo.
Mrs. Hawkins is a 1997 graduate of Bell City High School. She is a scanner coordinator at Town and Country Supermarket.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Bell City High School. He is a grower for Tyson Foods.
The couple resides in Advance.
