JACKSON, Mo. -- Linda Marie Wilson and Carl Gene Penzel were united in marriage June 14, 2001, in a candlelight ceremony at their home. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Pat Holly and soloist was Andrea Penzel, granddaughter of the groom, both of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Delores Riney of Jackson, and the late Melvin J. Riney Sr. The groom is the son of Mettie Penzel of Cape Girardeau, and the late Carl Penzel.
Saundra Perry of Jackson was matron of honor.
Best man was Tim Flesner of Jackson.
Guest book attendants were Allison Penzel, granddaughter of the groom, and Caitlynn Schamburg, granddaughter of the bride, both of Jackson.
A reception was held after the ceremony at the Penzel home.
Mrs. Penzel is an executive assistant at Jackson Chamber of Commerce.
The groom is chairman of the board of Penzel Construction Co.
The couple resides in Jackson.
