Kelli Denise Underwood and Eric Lloyd Hasty were united in marriage May 26, 2001, at Lynwood Baptist Church. The Revs. Derek Staples and Kim Ferguson performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Shane Steck, violinist was Casey Cook, guitarist was Chip Sepulvado, and soloists were Jamie Becker, Casie Janet, and Sepulvado, all of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Dennis and Donna Underwood and Lonnie and Brenda Hasty, all of Cape Girardeau.
Wendy Unsbee of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shanda Underwood of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride; Karen Holman of Jefferson City, Mo., sister of the groom; Kelly Guard, Holly Bauer and Casey Bauer, all of Cape Girardeau.
Best man was Josh Ferguson of Columbia, Mo. Groomsmen were Jody Underwood of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Jason Holman of Jefferson City, brother-in-law of the groom; Shane Halter, Rocky Sabbatini and Shawn Craig, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers and candlelighters were Adam Farmer of Cape Girardeau and Tim Mayfield of St. Louis.
Flower girls were Megan Smith and Savannah Holman. Megan is the daughter of Derek and Tanda Smith of Cape Girardeau. Savannah is the daughter of Jason and Karen Holman and niece of the groom. Ringbearers were Riley Bauer and Landon Byrum. Riley is the son of Bob and Teresa Bauer of Cape Girardeau. Landon is the son of Bart and Jennifer Byrum of Jackson, Mo.
Junior bride was Mary Bauer, daughter of Bob and Teresa Bauer.
Erin Hildebrand and Lynsey Pingel attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Servers were Shanna Kelley, Breanna Gasser, and the church wedding committee.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 25 at their home.
Mrs. Hasty is attending the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
The groom received a master's degree from Southeast Missouri State University in May. He is employed at Deloitte and Touche in St. Louis.
After a wedding trip to Sanibel Island, Fla., the couple resides in St. Louis.
