SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Maria Sotiriou of Houston, Texas, and Jack Ray King of Eagle River, Alaska, were married May 27, 2000, at Webber House and Gardens in Houston. Dr. Ernest Izard performed the single ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Nikoloan Kitromilides of Chios, Greece, and Jocelyn Anderson of Brisbane, Australia. King is the son of Lourine King of Scott City.

The bride was presented in marriage by Colin Cameron of Auckland, New Zealand.

Maid of honor was Bebe McGarry of San Clemente, Calif.

Jim Morman of Atlanta, Ga., served the groom as best man. Guests were seated by Dave Domenghini of Morro Bay, Calif.

Flower girls were Edi and Elle McGarry of San Clemente, and Paige Dawson of Huron, Ohio, niece of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Webber House and Gardens.

The rehearsal dinner was May 26 at Collina's Restaurant in Houston.

Mrs. King attended Kelvin Grove High School and Seven Hills Art College in Brisbane. She is a flight attendant with Continental Airlines in Houston.

The groom received a master's degree in business administration from Chapman University in Orange, Calif. He is a C-130 navigator with the U.S. Air Force.

The couple resides in San Antonio, Texas.
