Staci Leigh Rebert and Dane Baker were married Aug. 19, 2000, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel. The Rev. Barry Pfanstiel performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Carolyn Fiedler, trumpeter was Dan Berry, soloist and guitarist was Keith Allen, all of Cape Girardeau.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Rebert of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Baker of Jackson, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Marrett Hamilton of Indio, Calif.

Matron of honor was Holly Judkins of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tara Fischer of Jackson, Jennifer Gardner and Therese Brown of Cape Girardeau.

Scott Fischer of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Mitchell of Cape Girardeau, Mark Guilliams and Darrin Baker, brother of the groom, both of Jackson. Ushers were Greg McNeely and Mark Evans of Jackson.

Flower girl was Madeline Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Baker of Charleston, Mo., and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Clayton Lawrence, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lawrence of Perryville, Mo., and nephew of the groom.

Kim Ziegler of Kelso, Mo., attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Elks Lake Lodge. Servers were Cheri Huckstep-Reed, Carmen Huckstep and Kaki Huckstep, all of Cape Girardeau and aunts of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 18 at Good Shepherd Chapel.

Mrs. Baker is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School, and 1997 graduate of Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing. She is a registered nurse in the Cardiac Catherization Lab at St. Francis Medical Center.

The groom is a 1988 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed by city of Jackson.

After a wedding trip to the Mayan Coast and Cancun, Mexico, the couple is residing in Jackson.
