June Ann Pierce and George Anthony Craigmiles were married May 20, 2000, at Hanover Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark Martin performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Judy Foeste of Cape Girardeau, and soloist was Donna Hess of Chaffee, Mo.
Parents of the couple are Roger and Sharon Pierce of Cape Girardeau, and George E. and Laura Craigmiles of Chaffee.
Maid of honor was Joan Pierce of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Pierce of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride; Chris McCommons of Beaver Springs, Pa.; Carolyn Wood and Sandra Barr of Jackson, Mo., cousins of the bride; and Theresa Crites of Chaffee, sister of the groom.
Kenny Chapman of Chaffee served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Dannenmueller, Larry Gibbons, David Glueck, John Schott, and Bill Crites, brother-in-law of the groom, all of Chaffee. Ushers were Dennis Reimann, uncle of the bride, and Bill Crites.
Flower girls were Madison and McKenna Craigmiles and ringbearer was Ethan Craigmiles, children of the groom.
Bethany Sweet of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Becca Sweet of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Lauryn Crites of Chaffee, niece of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the American Legion Hall in Jackson. Servers were Janet Philipps, Jessica Davis and Gail Walter.
Mrs. Craigmiles is a 1988 graduate of Central High School, 1992 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and 1996 graduate of Southwest Missouri School of Anesthesia. She is a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom is a 1983 graduate of Chaffee High School. He is employed at Duncan Painting and Wallcovering in Chaffee.
The couple resides in Chaffee.
