Rachel Marie Phillips and Matthew Dow Kingree were married June 23, 2000, in Zwingle, Iowa. The Rev. Thomas Ralph performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Pam Crawford of Maquoketa, Iowa. Soloists were John Phillips of Rock Island, Ill., and Jennifer Phillips of Zwingle.

David and Karen Phillips of Zwingle are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Larry and Marilyn Kingree of Cape Girardeau.

Jennifer Phillips of Zwingle was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate Kingree of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom, and Christel Fehr of Arnold, Mo.

Best man was Matthew Cantrell of Springfield, Mo. Groomsmen were Richie Kingree of Ellsinore, Mo., cousin of the groom, and Tom Richards of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Rocky Kingree of Ellsinore, cousin of the groom, and Adam Richmann of Lost Nation, Iowa, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Katie Phillips, daughter of John and Karen Phillips of Rock Island and cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Julien Inn in Dubuque, Iowa.

The bride's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 22 at their home.

Mrs. Kingree received a degree in microbiology from Southeast Missouri State University. She is attending the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia.

The groom received a degree in historic preservation from Southeast University. He is director of Cole County Historical Society Museum in Jefferson City, Mo.

The couple resides in Columbia.
