ORAN, Mo. -- Rebeccah Elizabeth Nothdurft and Edward George Bodine were married Oct. 7, 2000, at the Church of the Crossing in Indianapolis, Ind. The Rev. Brian Tabor performed the ceremony. Music was by the Resurrection String Ensemble. Vocalists were Christy Alfredson and C.J. Miller.
Parents of the bride are Glenn and Susan Nothdurft of Oran. The groom is the son of Lillie Bodine of Fort Wayne, Ind., and the late William Bodine.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Sara Nothdurft of Oran, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Penny Brotherton of Sikeston, Mo., Mica Foret of New Orleans, Beth Temple of Nashville, Tenn., and Laura Shinn of Indianapolis.
Erick Burgess of Dallas was best man. Groomsmen were Todd Oliver and Phil Shinn of Indianapolis, Scott Carcillo and Mark Szkudlarek of Atlanta. Usher was Geoff Shinn of Gordonville, Mo.
Candlelighters were Julie Wrather of Portageville, Mo., and Kari Fields of Jackson, Mo., cousins of the bride.
Stacey Cranmer of Chesterfield, Mo., was guest book attendant. Erin Fields of Jackson attended the gift table.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Primo North Banquet Hall in Indianapolis. Servers were Vallerie Abernathy and Martha Hartmann of Gordonville.
The bride's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 6 at the church.
Mrs. Bodine is a 1994 graduate of Oran High School. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Mississippi in 1998. She is employed by Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Co. in Indianapolis.
The groom is a graduate of Northside High School in Fort Wayne. He received a degree in respiratory therapy at Ivy Tech in Fort Wayne. He manages the pediatric respiratory care department at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
The couple resides in Indianapolis.
