Christina Kaye McCart and Kane St. John Cotton were married Oct. 14, 2000, in a private outdoor ceremony in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The Rev. Wesley Higgins performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charles James McCart of Cape Girardeau, and Jeep McCart of Jackson, Mo. The groom is the son of Fred and Dr. Catherine McGuire of Monument, Colo., and Hollister Cotton of Aspen, Colo.
A reception was held Nov. 4 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Patricia Hobbs, aunt of the bride, and Amy Curry, cousin of the bride.
Mrs. Cotton is a 1991 graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Colorado State University in 1997. She is assistant to the CEO at Medgrup Corp.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Lewis-Palmer High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in economics from Colorado State University in 1996. He is an investment specialist with Invesco Mutual Funds.
The couple resides in Monument.
